Music has been and continues to be an integral part of the Indian culture, tradition and of course the Indian household.

The country's love for music has given the entertainment industry some of the biggest and most successful television shows and some great singers. If some shows found the best singing talent, other shows cashed in on dancing capabilities and viewers lapped up this hunt for talent. However, today, it is no longer enough to be just a great singer or a great dancer. To be a real superstar one needs to be a complete performer. And if it's children who are on their way to superstardom, there is no missing this treat.

For the first time on Indian television we present a one of its kind show – Gini & Jony Chak De Bachche - it is the hunt for a superstar pair! A hunt bigger and better as it’s a fight between kids from small towns and big towns. Who will do India proud?

24 Kids (12 from big towns and 12 from small towns) aged between 8 to 14 have been selected from every nook and corner of the country. 6 pairs of kids from small towns will be pitted against 6 pairs from big towns. These two teams will be led by their mentors, who will guide them, then will fight for supremacy.

In the presence of three distinguished Judges from the entertainment world, the couples will perform week after week on the songs sung by them and presented through choreographed performance and the country would vote to choose their favorite. Who will win the judges over and who will the nation vote for?

The kids from the smaller towns who don’t get enough facilities for training or the kids from the big cities who have all the facilities but are over burdened with too many activities leaving very little time to enjoy their life?

After 18 weeks of the fight, in an explosive finale, the nation will get its first performer jodi.
